Domestic Shipping Policy
As a business located in the United States of America, we will ship to any contiguous state, Alaska, and Hawaii.
The MidCity Menagerie makes every effort to bring you a wide array of offerings. In order to do this, we offer handpainted items as well as printed items. While handpainted items are shipped directly from us, the printed items (like clothing, accessories, cups, wall prints, etc.) are shipped using our printing partner, Printify, Inc. (“Printify”) Processing times, then, will vary depending on your order.
Below are general guidelines, but please know that certain items may take more or less time, depending on who is fulfilling the order and other considerations such as circumstances beyond our control.
Nearly all orders through Printify are fulfilled within 2 - 7 business days from the date your order is submitted for production. If you would like to know the specifics of an item you have ordered, please review the description details for that item. The more specific timeframe for the printer making that order will be listed there.
Also, be aware that there are daily cutoff times for each printing company. If your order is sent over after the daily cut off time for new orders, the order will be sent to production the following day of operation. If you make the cut off time, though, your item will go into production that day!
As with any business, there may be some instances where processing from Printify printers is a bit delayed. There may be circumstances, like holidays, when there is higher demand or the item you requested for printing may be out of stock.

All orders supplied directly from The MidCity Menagerie will be processed in 2 - 3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing unusually high demand, it may be that our processing time is a little longer (we are a one person show). Please understand there may be a bit of a delay during these times. If there will be a significant delay in shipping your order for any reason, we will contact you via email or telephone to keep you informed of the status of your purchase.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Times
Items will generally be sent via the United States Postal Service (“USPS”). When you checkout, you will have two options for shipping:
First-Class Mail (approximately 5 - 7 Business Days for total shipping and handling time)
Priority Mail (approximately 3 - 5 Business Days for total shipping and handling time).
Shipping rates will be calculated using real-time calculations from USPS. If for any reason real-time calculations are available, a back-up option will be used to calculate your shipping.
Also, because we are so appreciative of your business, any order over $100 will receive free “First-Class Mail” shipping and any order over $150 will receive free “Priority Mail” shipping.
Please be aware that other shipment carriers such as DHL may be used by the printer through Printify, Inc. Though, in most cases, USPS is also a shipment carrier for Printify printers.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO/AFO Addresses
The MidCity Menagerie LLC ships to addresses within the U.S., the U.S. territories, and P.O./APO/AFO boxes.
Order Confirmation and Shipping Information
When we receive your order, you will receive an email confirming your order has been received. Once your product is shipped, you will receive another email to confirm the product is on its way as well as the tracking information for your purchase. So, after you make your purchase, please keep an eye on your email for these updates.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
The MidCity Menagerie LLC is not responsible for any customs, tariffs, taxes, etc. applied to your order. Any and all fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility.
The MidCity Menagerie LLC is not responsible for any damages to our products that take place during or after shipping or for any packages that are lost in transit during shipping. If you run into this situation, contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Items that are damages may be eligible for other action under our Refund Policy. Please check this information on our website, found below the Shipping Policy.
International Shipping Policy
We currently only ship to Canada and the United States. The same policies outlined in the Domestic Shipping Policy apply to shipments to Canada. Specifically, the policies titled Processing Times, Order Confirmation and Shipping Information, Customs, Duties, and Taxes, and Damages.
USPS will be used for all shipments made to Canada unless the items are shipped from Pintify. Other shipment carriers may be used by the item’s manufacturer.
Although we will do our very best to meet the same shipping and handling times outlined in the Domestic Shipping Policy, please recognize that international shipping may take a bit longer. While Processing Times will be the same, the shipping process may be an additional 2 - 3 days. If any significant delays in shipping are made apparent to us, we will be sure to convey that information to you as soon as possible.
Other Shipping Issues
It is your responsibility, as the buyer, to provide a correct and proper address for shipping your purchase. If you do not provide an accurate address, reprocessing may be charged to you for reshipment to the correct address.
Any unclaimed shipments will be returned to the sender of that shipment. In these instances, any reshipment costs will be at the expense of the buyer.
All items sold by The MidCity Menagerie LLC are unique, as-is items. When purchasing a handpainted item, you will receive the exact item shown. When purchasing a printed item, the item is made to order. Given the one-of-a-kind nature of each item, returns or exchanges are not possible and will not be permitted or accepted. Please read the details of each item you purchase carefully to ensure you are purchasing the product that will best fulfill your needs and expectations.
In certain circumstances where a product is defective, a replacement item or a refund may be an option for you. Please read this full policy for all relevant details.
Replacements and Refunds for Defective Items - Printify, Inc. Items
Printify, Inc. is a reputable company as are the printers and manufacturers chosen to make your made to order items. Nonetheless, mistakes happen sometimes. When a defective product is received and properly documented, a replacement item will be sent to you at no charge. If there is an issue with the replacement item, then a refund will be processed and issued.
What is a defective product?
A defective product is not something that is damaged in shipping or by you after you have received the item. Similarly, a defective product is not an order error like ordering the wrong color, size, or print. Defective products do include manufacturing errors, printing errors, fulfilment errors, etc.
What do I do if I receive a defective printed product?
You must email us at email@example.com with a replacement request. Please include in the subject line “Defective Product - Replacement Request” so that we know exactly how we can help you.
Explain in the body of your email the issue you have with the product. Also, please provide any order information (like an order number) so that we may reference that information while we process your request. Lastly, attach pictures of the defect on the product to your email. These pictures will need to be shared with Printify to process your replacement item.
Do I have to return the original, defective printed item?
When you are asking for and we are processing a replacement item, there is no need to return the original defective item. You will not need to send the item, pay shipping, or return it to us or the manufacturer.
How long do I have to let The MidCity Menagerie LLC know about a defective product?
You must send us your replacement request within 30 calendar days of the actual date of delivery of your original order. Tracking information provided by USPS or the used shipment carrier will determine the date of actual delivery to start the 30 days.
What if the replacement item is also defective?
If the replacement item received and processed through the associated manufacturer with Printify is also defective (manufacturing error(s), printing error(s), fulfillment error(s)), then please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the subject line of your email, please put “Replacement Item Issue” and include any associated order number. As you did with your request for the replacement, please tell us what defect you have with the replacement item and attach pictures to your email of the defect. If there is a confirmed defect, we will process you a full refund for the item. Please allow 5 - 7 business days to fully process the refund.
Replacements and Refunds for Defective Items - MidCity Menagerie Handpainted Items
As each piece of art in the shop is made with nothing short of love and care, no item should be considered defective. Items are not made after you order. Instead, the exact item shown is the item you will purchase and receive.
Nonetheless, if you discover your item is defective, we will accept a request for a refund. Sizes of items as well as colors are shown clearly and truthfully on the website and item listing. As such, differences in color or size are not defects and refunds will not be considered for these concerns. Similarly, damages that occur during shipping are not defects.
Defects are issues with manufacturing, clear quality disparities, or material differences that interfere with your ability to use the product.
Refunds for Defective Products - Handpainted MidCity Menagerie Items
What do I do if I receive a defective handpainted item?
You must email us at email@example.com with a refund request. Please include in the subject line “Defective Product - Refund Request” so that we know exactly how we can help you.
Explain in the body of your email, in detail, the issue you have with the product. Also, please provide any order information (like an order number) so that we may reference that information while we process your request. Then, attach pictures of the defect on the product to your email.
Please allow 1-3 business days for processing and a response to your refund request.
Do I have to return the original, defective handpainted item?
Yes. If The MidCity Menagerie LLC agrees to give you a refund for a defective product, you agree to return that defective product to us. Also, shipping costs to return the item to us will be at the buyer, your, expense.
